Dr. P. Venkateswarlu, Director

Dr.Venkateswarlu received his Ph.D. and M.S. degrees from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, in Mechanical Engineering specializing in the fields of Heat Transfer. He received his B.E. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati. He has over 35 years of experience in academic and industry research and contributed extensively to thermal design of power plant equipment and new product development. Dr.Venkateswarlu has pioneered Heat Pipe Research in BHEL. He has more than 20 years of experience in this area and played a pivotal role at BHEL R&D in the design, development and commercialization of number of heat pipe products for industry and defence applications. He was instrumental in developing the heat pipe design software. He guided 2 Ph D theses and holds two patents.

Dr.Venkateswarlu is with SR Group for nearly 10 years, 8 Years as Principal of SR Engineering College, Warangal and 2 Years as Director.

Dr. Prasad Gandikota,

Principal and Professor, ECE.

Dr. Prasad Gandikota is the Principal of SR International Institute of Technology (SRIIT) since 2013. He has more than 33 years of experience in the area of Research & Development, Industry and teaching. He worked for CSIR-CEERI – a national research laboratory of Govt. of India for more than 23 years. Later, he worked for TTL Hyderabad - a Havells group of company for two years. His passion for teaching and the R&D experience brought him to teaching profession. He worked as Professor in GITAM University two years before joining SRIIT as Principal.

As a Scientist of CSIR, Dr. Prasad successfully completed 7 most prestigious projects funded by Govt. of India and various Industries as a principal investigator. He had scores of research papers published in reputed national and International Journals. He was member of various selection committees during his tenure as Scientist. He is currently guiding two PhD students. He is a reviewer and examiner for PhD examinations for various Universities.

Dr. Prasad is a member of various International professional bodies like IEEE, IETE, ISTE CSI etc., He visited USA under UNDP fellowship and worked at Case Western Reserve University Cleveland and Purdue University West Laffeyate. He worked for College TAFE – Western Australia University unit in Malaysia as a faculty. He has vast experience in the areas of R&D, Industry and Teaching, which is unique.

Prof. D.N. Reddy, Academic Advisor

Prof. D.N. Reddy is currently the Chairman, Recruitment and Assessment Center (DRDO), Member, University Grant Commission (UGC), New Delhi and Regional Chairman, AICTE (SCRO), Hyderabad. He had held many other important positions in the academic world - Vice Chancellor, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, Vice Chancellor of Osmania University, Hyderabad for two terms, and Vice President of the Commonwealth of Learning (COL).

Prof. Krishna Vedula

Professor, Dean Emeritus of Engineering at University of Massachusetts Lowell, USA he has been recognized for his leadership in building unique partnerships with business, K-12, state agencies and other educational institutions. He generated several millions of dollars of research funding from a wide range of government and private agencies and graduated 15 students with M.S. degrees and 10 students with Ph.D. degrees and also published more than 50 publications in reputed journals. He is Founder and Executive Chair of “Massachusetts STEM Collaborative”. He received prestigious awards such as ‘Workforce Development Leader (MTC)” in 2000, “Mass High Tech All Star” in 2001 and given the “Indus Star Award” in 2002. He is appointed by the Governor to the Board of Massachusetts Technology Collaborative and the Educational Technology Advisory Council.

Sanjeev Khanna

Sanjeev K. Khanna is a C.W. LaPierre Professor in the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department at the University of Missouri. Along with four years of experience as a hydro turbine design engineer for Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd., India, Khanna has experience at a wide range of academic institutions and is a winner of the National Science Foundation’s CAREER award for junior faculty members. Khanna has received research funding from the NSF, the Auto Steel Partnership, Ford Motor Co. and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. He also currently serves as the director of energy solutions and research center in the Midwest Energy Efficiency Research Consortium and as assistant director of the Missouri Industrial Assessment Center.

Dr. Sridhar Condoor

Dr. Sridhar Condoor is Chair of the Department of Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering. He is also the Program Director for the Mechanical Engineering, a KEEN fellow, a Coleman Fellow, the editor of the Journal of Engineering Entrepreneurship.He is spearheading Technology Entrepreneurship education at SLU via Innovation to Product (I2P), iChallenge, and entrepreneurship competitions and funded research. He is the Principal Investigator for the KEEN Entrepreneurship Program Development Grants to foster the spirit of innovation in all engineering students. He authored several books and published several technical papers on topics focused on conceptual design, design principles, cognitive science as applied to design, and design education.
